    I know that bananas are biodegradable, another word that I recently learned. That means they will break down and disappear, not like things made of plastic.

    An effect is the result of something else. A runny nose is an effect of a cold.
  10. responsibility
    the social force that binds you to a course of action
    A responsibility is something you should do. It is my responsibility to walk my dog.
  11. goal
    the state of affairs that a plan is intended to achieve
    When you make a plan, or set a goal, you might encounter problems, or obstacles. These obstacles can change the outcome, or the results.
  12. outcome
    a phenomenon that is caused by some previous phenomenon

    a position or opinion reached after consideration
    You synthesize when you draw conclusions, or put details together to understand people, things, or situations.

    a composition in metrical feet forming rhythmical lines
    A poem tells a story or expresses feelings.

    correspondence in the final sounds of two or more lines
    Poets use words to create sounds in their poems. These sound effects include rhymes, and words placed together that repeat the same sound.

    A prepositional phrase is a group of words that starts with a preposition and ends with a noun or pronoun.
