    relating to or being in apposition
    An appositive phrase is a noun or pronoun with modifiers that identifies, renames, or explains a noun or pronoun right next to it.
  11. dialogue
    the lines spoken by characters in drama or fiction
    With a partner, write and present a dialogue between the speaker and the motorcyclist in "Fifteen" or Papa and Mama in "Twister Hits Houston."
  12. infinitive
    the uninflected form of the verb
    An infinitive is a verb form that generally appears with the word to and acts as a noun, an adjective, or an adverb.
  13. panel
    a group of people gathered for a special purpose
    With classmates, hold a panel discussion about possible interpretations of a poem by Robert Frost.
