The team is flying to Lukla to begin the trek to base camp early tomorrow morning.

Lukla was filled with excitement as porters organized their loads and trekkers began their journeys.

We left around 6:30 in the morning, with the idea that we would turn around 11—we did not necessarily have a destination in mind, it was more for acclimatization and to get an idea of what the icefall was like.
