Thomas More
Sir Thomas More was an English lawyer, social philosopher, author, statesman, and noted Renaissance humanist. In 1516, he published Utopia, which describes the political system of an imaginary island state. He also served Henry VIII as Lord High Chancellor of England and was canonized as a saint in 1935.
