Jean Fritz
Jean Fritz was an American children's writer best known for American biography and history. In 1983, Homesick: My Own Story won the Newbery Honor Award and the National Book Award and was named a Boston Globe-Horn Book Honor book. Fritz won the Children's Legacy Literature Award for her career contribution to American children's literature in 1986.
