    An igloo is a domed house made from blocks of snow.

    a ceremonial feast held by some Native American tribes
    A potlatch was a ceremony in which a wealthy and high-ranking family had a feast and gave gifts to their guests.

    complicated in structure
    Another complex culture arose in the Mississippi River valley.
  13. distinct
    not alike; different in nature or quality
    Many distinct groups lived on the Plains.
