  14. flashback
    a transition in a story to an earlier event or scene
    A flashback interrupts the chronological sequence of a literary work to present an event that occurred earlier.
  15. foreshadowing
    the act of providing vague advance indications
    Foreshadowing is the presentation of hints to events that will occur later in a story.
