In Memoriam 2020: Chadwick Boseman (1976–2020) Tribute List

The film actor Chadwick Boseman played three giants in Black American history — Thurgood Marshall, James Brown, and Jackie Robinson — before achieving superstardom as King T'Challa in Black Panther. Widely praised and universally beloved for his talent, dignity, and the moral authority he brought to all the characters he inhabited, Boseman died of cancer at the age of 43.
