  1. altruistic
showing unselfish concern for the welfare of others
Google made clear that the decision was not purely altruistic. New York Times (Oct 25, 2019)

  3. beneficent
    doing or producing good
The holiday would be “a day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens.” Slate (Nov 25, 2019)
is essentially the adjective form of benefactor. Bene- means good, and facere means "to do."
  4. benevolent
showing or motivated by sympathy and understanding
So, too, did Harlan, movingly played by Plummer in extended flashbacks that allow him to hover over the proceedings like a watchful, benevolent ghost. Los Angeles Times (Nov 22, 2019)
Here's that bene-, "good," prefix again, but in this case paired with the Latin volent, meaning "to wish" or "to will." To to be benevolent is to be driven by a desire to do good.
  5. charity
an institution set up to provide help to the needy
But it also carries a message of charity, more in keeping with the New Testament. Washington Post (Nov 22, 2019)
  6. considerate
showing concern for the rights and feelings of others
Everyone was considerate and friendly, but there was no escaping the conclusion that we were hopelessly overcrowded. A Walk in the Woods
  7. eleemosynary
generous in assistance to the poor
The truth is, Mr. Trump’s exaggerated eleemosynary claims match his long history of embroideries, overstatements and wildly inflated assertions of prowess in other endeavors. Washington Post (Jul 3, 2016)
If you've heard the expression "alms for the poor," eleemosynary comes from the same Greek root: eleimon, "to have pity on."
  8. generous
willing to give and share unstintingly
It’s easier to be kind, easier to be sweet, easier to be generous. Slate (Nov 24, 2019)

  10. magnanimous
    noble and generous in spirit
German Masson described the experience as “a little funny” but was magnanimous in defeat. Reuters (Nov 3, 2019)
Magnanimous translates to "big soul" in Latin, so you can use it to describe an action, like a donation, and also an exceedingly generous attitude.

of or relating to charitable giving
The ad also spotlights Bloomberg's philanthropic efforts to stop the "terrible toll of gun violence," fund college educations for "thousands of deserving low income and middle class kids" and support "life saving medical research." Salon (Nov 24, 2019)
In Greek, philo- is a prefix meaning "love," and anthropo- means "human." So philanthropy, or charitable giving, is motivated by a love for one's fellow human. Don't confuse philo- with phyllo, the thin layers of dough used to make spinach pies and other Greek delicacies. A phyllanthropist would be someone who wraps people up in pastry.
  12. selfless
showing concern for the welfare of others
In the brief, Apple refers to its 443 employees who identify as Dreamers as “vital to the company’s success” and “among the most driven and selfless colleagues in the company.” Fox News (Nov 12, 2019)
Much like Altruistic, selfless refers to someone who puts the needs of others before their own.
