Cover Letter Language

The cover letter that you write to a prospective employer should draw from your résumé, elaborating on the points most relevant to the job you’re seeking. You might, for example, explain how your volunteer work demonstrates your dedication to a particular cause and shows you to be a conscientious and reliable worker. While there are no specific words that will make or break your cover letter, finding strong descriptive words to convey your strengths can go a long way.
