Despite their divorce, it seems the two remain amicable.
    - People (Jan 14, 2019)
If you hear amicable in the news these days, it's probably being used to describe a celebrity split where the exes remain friends. It seems that's the case between action-movie star Chris Pratt and his former wife, Anna Farris, who co-parent a son. Pratt's love life was in the news again this week when he announced his engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger. Apparently Farris couldn't be happier for the couple, who will live just a few miles away.
  2. catharsis
    purging of emotional tensions
Given the universal appeal and introspective catharsis that marks the best of Willie Nelson's work, the sheer range of talent who took the stage to celebrate the life and career of Nelson at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena for Willie: Life & Songs Of An American Outlaw should have come as no surprise.
    - Billboard (Jan 13, 2019)
Catharsis is a powerful feeling that many of Willie Nelson's fans have experienced when listening to the songs he made famous, such as "On the Road Again" and "Always On My Mind." In a Nashville event this week, several artists, including George Strait, Chris Stapleton, and Emmylou Harris, paid tribute to the country legend's life and career. A recording of the concert will be broadcast next year.

The Critic’s Choice Awards, which honor achievement in both television and film, were held this week. There was a tie in the movie category for Best Actress between Glenn Close (who won the Golden Globe the week before) and Lady Gaga. There was another tie when Amy Adams and Patricia Arquette both won for Best Actress in a Limited TV Series. If something's described as not infallible, it means you can't always count on it to be accurate or reliable.

The film, which is a remake of the French hit “The Intouchables,” stars Cranston as a wealthy paraplegic with Hart as an unemployed man with a criminal record who’s hired to aid him.
