    weakness characterized by a lack of vitality or energy
    As usual, it's the thought of Prim's anxious face as she watches me on the screens back home that breaks me from my lethargy.
  10. consolidate
    bring together into a single whole or system
    I obediently consolidate the supplies I want into my pack.
  11. inducement
    a positive motivational influence
    When food is scarce, the Gamemakers will invite the players to a banquet, somewhere known to all like the Cornucopia, as an inducement to gather and fight.
  12. pariah
    a person who is rejected from society or home
    Whatever doubts I've had about him dissipate because if either of us took the other's life now we'd be pariahs when we returned to District 12.
  13. ruse
    a deceptive maneuver, especially to avoid capture
    Even if they think it's a ruse, I hope they'll decide I'm hidden somewhere near it.
  14. peruse
    examine or consider with attention and in detail
    My eyes peruse the bank, but there's nothing.
  15. levity
    feeling an inappropriate lack of seriousness
    But when I start to help him to the stream, all the levity disappears.
