Adam West died on June 9, 2017 at the age of 88. He will forever be associated with his role as Batman in the TV series which aired from 1966-1968. For those who didn't read comics, he was their first exposure the Caped Crusader, and although the series was silly, West always gave the impression he was in on the joke.
