An unobstructed tunnel on a playground is ready to be crawled through, and an unobstructed road after a winter storm has been cleared of snow and ice. In either case, the unobstructed thing is open and unblocked. A beautiful view, not hindered by an ugly building or parking lot, is often described as unobstructed as well.
