analyzed

Anything that's analyzed has been evaluated or carefully inspected. In your lab report, you'll probably want to discuss the analyzed data from your science experiment.

An analyzed poem or novel has been meticulously studied, often with the goal of revealing some essential truth about it. And just as critics and academics deal with analyzed material, so do scientists: a chemist might talk about an analyzed chemical substance, which has been measured and separated into its basic parts. This adjective can be traced back to the Greek root analyein, "to dissolve."
