Other forms: Frisbees

A Frisbee is a round, lightweight toy that glides through the air as you toss it back and forth with your friends.

If you've gotten pretty good at throwing a Frisbee, you might want to join an Ultimate Frisbee team or compete in freestyle Frisbee, doing fancy tricks accompanied by music. Or try teaching your dog to jump and catch a Frisbee in the air. The Wham-O toy company trademarked the Frisbee name in 1959. It's named after the Frisbie Bakery in Connecticut, where local college students bought pies and used the empty tins to play catch, essentially inventing the Frisbee.
