Other forms: Frenches; Frencher; Frenched; Frenchly; Frenching
Anything French has to do with the country, people, culture, or language of France. The new French exchange student at your school will probably speak English with a French accent.
Do you love croissants, brioche, and eclairs? Then you can say French pastries are your favorite! In addition to these authentically French foods, there are many things commonly described this way that aren't actually French at all, like French bulldogs and French toast. The word is also used for the entire group of people who are citizens of France ("the French") and their language. And an extremely informal way to apologize for swearing is to say, "Pardon my French."
